I’ve had a semi-productive writing summer, which I will detail further soon (like probably in a couple months, at this rate). In the meantime, I took a week of vacation from work, and basically everything else, to hang out on the Cape with my mom.

Lin-Manuel Miranda of Hamilton fame tweeted earlier this summer “No accident that the best idea I ever had in my life (maybe the best one I’ll ever have) happened on vacation. With a second to breathe.”

Like Lin-Manuel, I always feel more centered on vacation. And I’m especially creatively loose at the ocean. During my week off I did a lot of reading and a little writing, but I wanted to share the project I channeled most of my tension-free energy into. Is this my Hamilton? I’ll leave it to you to decide.
